How does a tiny seed grow into a big plant?
Hold a seed in your palm and it does absolutely nothing. It just sits there, looking like a freckle that fell off the universe. And yet, packed inside that tiny lump is everything it takes to build a plant taller than you. The whole instruction manual, folded up small.
A seed is really a survival kit with three parts: a baby plant curled up asleep, a lunchbox of stored food packed right next to it, and a tough coat zipped around the outside to keep everything safe and dry. The seed can wait like this for weeks, months, sometimes years — patiently doing nothing, on purpose.
