And here's the wild part: soil is ALIVE. A single teaspoon of healthy soil holds more living organisms than there are people on Earth. Bacteria, fungi, tiny worms called nematodes, mites smaller than a pinhead — all cycling nutrients, building structure, keeping the whole system running.
