A Wonderleaf question

a real page from the book
Poop comes from food after your body has taken what it can use. In your mouth, stomach, and intestines, a meal is broken apart; nutrients move into your blood, and the leftover fiber, water, gut bacteria, and old cells become waste.
The large intestine is the slow finishing room. It pulls extra water back into the body, so the leftovers change from runny to firm. A funny true detail: poop gets much of its brown color from recycled blood cells, after your body has used them up.
After dinner, name one food on the plate and trace its pretend path from mouth to toilet.
Watercolour scenes, straight answers, about three minutes cover to cover.
