A Wonderleaf question

Why is the Sagrada Família still being built?

Why is the Sagrada Família still being built?

a real page from the book

The Sagrada Família is still being built because Antoni Gaudí planned an enormous, complicated church and died long before it was finished. Some of his models were damaged, the work depends on tickets and donations, and each tower, carving, and structure takes careful engineering.

Part of the wonder is that the building is both old and active. Visitors can stand under branching stone columns while craftspeople and engineers continue shaping sculptures, spires, and a central tower meant to rise above every other church.
