A Wonderleaf question

Where does rain come from?

Where does rain come from?

a real page from the book

Rain comes from water that rises into the air, cools, gathers into clouds, and falls again. The sun warms water on Earth, some of it becomes vapor, cold air changes it into tiny liquid drops, and those drops fall when they become too heavy.

The lovely part is that rain is old water, not newly made water. A drop on the window may once have been in a lake, a cloud over another country, or a puddle long before anyone in your family was born.
